Nicole Rizk is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults who are going through difficult moments in their lives while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. Many of the people she sees struggle with different forms of anxiety, including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), generalized anxiety, health anxiety, panic attacks, and social anxiety. Others come to therapy while dealing with depression, bipolar disorder, challenges with self-esteem, addiction, relationship difficulties, trauma, or grief. Whatever brings someone to therapy, she believes it takes courage to seek support, and she aims to offer a space where people feel heard, understood, and not alone in what they are experiencing.

Her therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps people understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, you will work to identify patterns that may be keeping someone stuck and develop practical ways to respond to difficulties with greater clarity and flexibility.

Nicole's ultimate goal is for clients to leave therapy not only feeling better, but also feeling more confident in their ability to handle future challenges. In other words, an important part of the work you do together is helping you develop the skills and understanding they need to eventually become their own therapist, able to draw on what they have learned long after therapy has ended.
